Perhaps I'm reading too many novels, but I can see myself in ten, twenty years falling into spinsterhood as a successful librarian in a small town, then receiving notice that a distant family member has died, and as I'm his (or her) last surviving relative, I've been tasked to care for his (or her) young kids. It would be a touching story where the cantankerous Miss Em learns to open her heart to little children and they eventually help her to find an eligible and mature bachelor who is a bit rough around the edges, but has a good heart.
Call me crazy, but it could happen. I'll be sure to tell you if it does.
You're still here! I have so much catching up to do XD. My blog merged into theactionpointspodcast.com
ReplyDeleteSpinsterhood has its advantages. Do you feel yourself becoming cantankerous? XD
Yeah, I'm still here :) I haven't written much lately, but if I know that people are actually still reading this, I'll try and do a better job ^_^
DeleteAm I cantankerous? Not yet, but one never knows.... ;)
Try not to accumulate cats.
ReplyDeleteThat shouldn't be a problem for me....I'm very allergic! My friends used to say that I'd be the crazy hamster woman :P
