I get the same reaction from people today when I correct their grammar. Usually, I'm lucky, though, since they either don't have a club to hit me with, or I'm fast enough to run away.

Hahaha. That's pretty funny. Even though I am an English major, I never correct people's grammar unless it's in a paper they asked me to edit. I figure it would be just about as annoying if they criticized the way I do my hair or what clothes I choose to wear. Hah.
