Pondering

Sorry I've been so AWOL....(God, I feel like I'm always saying that recently).  But, I seriously have been really busy with stuff here.

And that leads me to the important bit here....I'm starting to consider actually posting more personal things on this blog (or a completely new one, not sure).  I feel like I kinda want to stop hiding behind a computer screen, not even letting any of you know where I'm from or what I look like.  I don't know....I mean, I don't even have Facebook, and EVERYONE has Facebook.  I guess I've just really been thinking about things like that recently, and I feel like I'm either going to get a Facebook, or post pictures and information on the blog.  Doesn't mean I'm going to give you guys my home address or anything like that, but I might say which state I'm from, or possibly agree to meet up with some of you if you're in the area.  Please don't get too excited, though, since I'll prolly be sitting on this for a really long time...

So, just thought I'd get that out there.  Hope to be posting more often...

xo,

Emmy

  1. Well, I for one would love to put a face to your lovely personality, but I understand your need for privacy. Sometimes, I wish I could take back some of how open I am, but there's no going back. There's something beautiful about total anonymity because you absolutely don't have to censor yourself, something that I miss now that so many people I actually know read my blog. Make sure it's something you really want to do! :)

  2. I agree that there is nothing wrong with anonymity. I've thought about pulling out of a few social sights I visit that contain my personal information. I don't think pictures are too revealing, but definitely keep a tight lid on real identifying information.

  3. you might try facebook for a short while and add only a few close friends and see if you like that kind of thing or not. if you don't, you can delete the account and there's no harm done to this blog.

  4. Only make it more personal if you're comfortable with doing that Em. 'Everybody else does it so I should do it' isn't a good enough reason, as long as it's you wanting to should be okay.
I feel like I'm writing something to someone who is planing to come out as a naturist... It'll be fine either way Emmy

  5. Actually I really like being on my blog. Because no one knows me here. It's something about people's personality, but I pretty like this privacy that I have here.
something interesting is that I didn't have facebook account either and as you said everyone has these days. So I got one a week ago but after that I realized that I don't like that kind of thing. I'm not sure about deleting the account but I may not use it really.
After all it's up to you to try all those you said above and see the results:) waiting for your new posts in that new way:)
