Word of the Day!

While this is totally not the word of the day in the Writing Center, I thought it was an awesome sounding word after I found it in a Paul Muldoon poem that I was reading.

Falderal (Fal-duh-ral) (n.)

1. Mere nonsense; foolish talk or ideas
2. A trifle; gimcrack; gew-gaw

  1. A commonly used word when I was a kid.

  2. It sounds like what it means.

  3. Steven! Your comment posted! Looks like Blogger is being nice again :)
