Summer Reading Blip

So....Summer is almost over.  I have like two weeks left, and that means I will NOT be able to finish the entire LOTR series (and I'll be honest, I only got through The Hobbit and The Fellowship of the Ring).  There were just so many other books that caught my attention!  And as for these other books...yeah, I was NOT very good about posting updates on them.  Not at all.  In fact, of the 19 books I read (Wow!  That's better than I thought, haha!) I only recorded records for 9.  The rest can be found, of course on my Goodreads account, but I didn't record them here.

So, that being said, I hope to be able to start posting more things online once school starts.  I spend a bit more time in front of a computer, and have more time to write and post.  So, please stick with me just a little while longer.

On a slightly related note, if anyone is interested, I'll post my reading list for classes this semester.  Just let me know in the comments :)  (This time around, I'll try to actually read everything cover to cover, instead of skimming).

  1. I couldn't keep up with you last year... doubt my reading will be any faster this coming year.

I've been trying to read all of Updike's work... gawd he wrote a lot... all of it wonderful though.

  2. Luckily, Steven, I have less books to read this semester :) And you don't have to read everything, but it might be fun to possibly discuss some stuff. If you want me to, I'll at least post the list.

  3. And by the way, I'm loving the new profile picture :)

  4. I'm interested in your reading list.

My summer reading has hit a major bump.
I'm reading The Fountainhead, which is really good, but at over 700 pages, it's considerably longer than most books I read. And I also don't have much reading time anymore. I'm lucky to get through a chapter a day. Anyway, I am way behind on my reading schedule. After I finish it, I may have to read a bunch of easier books so I can catch up. This might be a good reason to catch up on some popular fiction. Maybe The Hunger Games series, or possibly Harry Potter.
I've also been in a bit of a blogging slump. Again, not much time. I keep starting blog posts but not finishing them. One of these days I just need to sit down and bust out like 12 blog posts all in one day. I could easily do it. I have more than that in the works. Part of the problem is that I feel like hardly anyone is reading my blog anymore. Probably because I haven't been writing as often.
Hey, this comment might actually make a good blog post to update everyone with...

  5. I've missed you, Robby!

Sorry your reading hasn't been going as well as you hoped....Still, try and update us when you can; it will be nice to see your updates again!

    I'll have list up asap!

(And yes, this comment could make a great update!)
